“Math has been known to get a bad reputation from kids and adults alike, and my goal as a math teacher is to challenge assumptions about the subject, and to show my students that there is more than one way to solve any math problem. I also strive to set an example for my female students that girls can love math and be good at it!”
Danielle Rauch teaches Grades 5 and 6 math, hoping to share her love of the subject with Middle School students so they will be successful. Daniella earned a bachelor’s from Cornell University and master’s from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her goal is to collaborate with students and families to make math engaging and fun.
Danielle is also an avid traveler, having visited 26 countries, including Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia. She studied in Bologna, Italy, and is fairly fluent in Italian. She would love to travel to China someday.
