Kim Davis worked as an associate teacher in Pre-K and Grades 1 and 2 at the Trevor Day School in Manhattan for several years before becoming Head Teacher in Kindergarten A in 2015. Kim earned a B.B.A. in human resources management from CUNY Baruch College. After working close to 20 years in the legal field, she decided it was time to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher and enrolled in CUNY Brooklyn College, where she earned her master’s degree in childhood education. Her goal for her Kindergarten students to create an environment where students become enthusiastic about discovering and learning, thereby deepening their understandings and knowledge. Kim is passionate about learning more about her history, heritage, and culture. She is grateful to be at a school where she can bring her entire self into the classroom. She says, “My proudest moments as a teacher are when I hear my students say how much they love learning and how much fun they have in school!”
