Tami Ling P’24, ’28 has always been an advocate for children. Born in upstate New York and raised in New Jersey, she made Brooklyn her home in 2005. Tami graduated from Bryn Mawr College with an A.B. in East Asian Studies and went on to earn her J.D. from Fordham University. Before joining the Poly Prep Admissions team in 2014, Tami served as law guardian with The Legal Aid Society, representing children in New York City Family Court. In her current role as Human Resources Administrator, she supports all Poly employees and strives to foster connectivity within our community.

A Poly parent since 2009, Tami sees the impact of Poly in the experiences of her two children. As with many siblings, each has different interests and educational needs. “For each,” she says, “being a student at Poly has fostered intellectual ambition, affirmed kindness, supported confidence, and created space to be seen and cared for as an individual.”
